Call for session submissions to open in November

The 7th European Climate Change Adaptation (ECCA2025) Conference: ‘Smarter, Faster and More Systemic Adaptation in Europe’ will be held in Rimini, Italy, 16-18 June, 2025.

It will be hosted by CMCC with JPI Climate and the Horizon EU MAGICA project joined by our partners. The biennial conference aims to inspire climate adaptation action by showcasing solutions, exchanging knowledge, bridging research/practice gaps and creating new connections.

ECCA2025 will feature sessions to foster interaction between science, policy, practitioners and business. The call for scientific and policy-based sessions will  open in November and we are happy to announce five themes:

  1. Living with climate extremes
  2. Managing cities to be fit for the future
  3. Protecting coastal and mountain areas
  4. Human and legal dimensions of change
  5. Adaptation finance: reducing communities’ economic or social vulnerabilities

The Conference enables policymakers at all levels, businesses delivering climate services and products and professionals across all sectors involved in climate adaptation actions to meet, learn, collaborate and inspire.
