The 7th meeting of the JPI Climate Transdisciplinary Advisory Board (TAB) was held to discuss JPI Climate’s ongoing and planned actions and reflect on the latest developments of research priorities in the field of biodiversity and climate to be addressed in the context of the newly formed Horizon Europe Partnership on Biodiversity. The TAB established a dedicated Working Group to provide advice and support the organisation of the JPI Climate/BiodivERsA joint strategic workshop on 13 April 2021.

A short update on the state of play of the Mission on Adaptation was given by Daniela Jacob (Mission Board & TAB member) and a summary of JPI Climate’s recent activities was presented by Frank McGovern (JPI Climate Chair).

A state of play of the 5th European Climate Change Adaptation conference (ECCA 2021) was also presented. The Organising Committee of ECCA2021 and the webinar champions have received the TAB recommendations for their consideration when developing the ECCA programme (webinars and High-Level Event). TAB members were also actively involved in the organisation of ECCA webinars.
