European Space Agency sponsors ECCA2023

The European Climate Change Adaptation Conference (ECCA) is delighted to announce the European Space Agency (ESA) as a flagship sponsor for its 2023 Conference in Dublin, Ireland.

ESA will join us at Dublin Castle, June 19-21, sharing their expertise in providing and using climate data from space to inform effective climate change adaptation actions and responses.

Delegates can gain an insight into the programme that is extending and expanding ESA’s long-term satellite datasets (Climate Change Initiative / CCI) and learn more about ESA’s support for the application of satellite data for climate change adaptation and climate services.

Dr Frank McGovern, Chair of JPI Climate, thanked ESA for their support, saying: “ESA is a key player in providing essential climate data and knowledge. We look forward to teaming-up with them again at ECCA2023.”

Further information about ESA’s activities at ECCA2023 will be published with the conference programme.
