Call Announcement: Climate Services for Risk Reduction in West Africa (CS4RRA)

We’re excited to announce the launch of the Joint Call for proposals under the initiative Climate Services for Risk Reduction in West Africa (CS4RRA) — open until 11 September 2025.

This new funding opportunity supports transdisciplinary research and innovation projects that aim to boost climate resilience in West Africa. The call is funded by a coalition of African and European countries, including Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, France, Germany, Ghana, Italy, and Norway. There is also additional eligibility for self-funded partners from other regions.

What the Call Supports:

• Strengthening climate resilience in West Africa through improved understanding of climate change impacts.
• Enhancing climate knowledge, services, and local capacities for risk reduction and adaptation.
• Fostering long-term collaboration between African and European research communities.
