Equinox Workshop on Societal Transformation in the Face of Climate Change – Summary Report Out

The summary report from the Equinox Workshop on Societal Transformation in the Face of Climate Change, held on 11 December 2025 in Brussels is published.

Co-organised by JPI Climate, supported by the MAGICA project, the workshop brought together researchers, policymakers, funders, and practitioners to explore how social sciences and humanities (SSH) can support climate action.

Discussions focused on key questions around governance, public engagement, and policy design for effective and legitimate climate action, as well as the trade-offs and co-benefits across policy areas. Through exchanges on research outcomes, knowledge gaps, and future priorities, participants explored how to better connect research and practice and identify pathways to move from knowledge to action.
