Equinox Workshop: 10 Years after the Paris Agreement – Keeping 1.5 degrees Celsius in reach

Event

The Equinox Workshop will take place on February 10-11 in Brussels, and is aimed to bring together experts at the science-policy interface to reflect on progress since the Paris Agreement and to explore pathways for keeping global warming within 1.5 °C.

The workshop will explore:

  • Understanding warming of 1.5 °C

  • Emissions pathways for key greenhouse gases consistent with 1.5 °C and 2 °C, including the scale of removals

  • Reconciling analyses of terrestrial emissions and removals, including LULUCF trends

  • The current state of play of carbon dioxide removals (CDR)

The outcomes of the workshop will feed into the Climate Neutrality Forum 2026 (CNF2026).

Please see here the DRAFT PROGRAMME and the event LEAFLET.

Workshop Venue: WTC III, Simon Bolivarlaan 30, Brussels
