|GREEN WIN project contributes to reduction of CO2 emissions Waterways Ireland, in partnership with Canal and River Trust in the UK and 4 other partners (in France, Belgium and Netherlands) , are working together as part of the project Green WIN, funded under the Thematic Priority Low Carbon of INTERREG NWE. The project’s main objective is to tackle the excess energy use and high carbon emissions waterways management organisations cause when pumping water around the region’s rivers and canals.
