Future research needs in support of climate services The ERA4CS workshop “Future research needs in support of climate services” was held on 9-10 June 2020 with the aim to take stock of recent achievements in the climate services, identify remaining knowledge gaps and research needs providing support to research and discuss possible new joint actions of JPI Climate.

A new app M-Tool A researcher in the MECCA project (funded through the BMBF MultiTIp project) developed a new app, called M-Tool, that allows users to capture people’s perceptions of complex systems (or mental models) with mobile devices, and can be tailored to map perceptions of any system or phenomenon.

The Third Climateurope Festival "Climate Information at Your Service", will take place on the 18th June 2020 and will be held virtually! Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic the face-to-face Climateurope festival originally planned to be held in Latvia this month is cancelled. .

Hungary joins the JPI Climate community The first virtual GB meeting of JPI Climate took place on 12-13 May, 2020. Hungary officially joined as a new Associated Member in the JPI Climate Governing Board. The discussions focused on the second JPI Climate Scoping Forum Symposium, knowledge hubs and the collaboration with the European Commission.
